June 15 is finally here...Yay.
MadMax and crew is ready and pumped for the Van Isle 360!
Steve and Sarah drove MadMax to Nanaimo from Vancouver. All went well.
Next come the safety inspections, crew arrivals, land support crew (Barb and dogs), and the start of the race on Saturday June 16!

I’m a very happy girl today because I get to go to Victoria tomorrow and join the rest of the Mad Max crew to race the last leg of the Cadillac Van Isle 360.
It was a sad moment for me standing on the dock watching Max slip through the fog the morning the crew left the little town of Winter Harbour and headed to the race course that would bring them to Ucluelet. I’d been having a fantastic time racing in the 7 legs from the start in Nanaimo - I wasn’t keen to leave!
Together with a great crew and Micah’s race experience and leadership along with countless hours spent getting Max race ready are paying off. Currently we’re in first place in Division 2 (woohoo!!)

and what if i was?? aha no doubt i was off meeting random locals.. .
i just got home from what i'm going to say is one of the best adventures ever. what a trip. someone should really write a full on blog about the whole race but oh my god we won!!! ! !!!!! ! !!! !! !
